School Snack & Breakfast Ideas + Recipes

Hey! Are you guys ready for school? For the most part I am but am still working on some things. One thing my family is going to do this year is make muffins and energy bites on the weekend to have for the week. There are so many healthy breakfasts you can make ahead and have in the fridge ready to grab in the morning. These recipes are yummy and help fuel your body for the school day ahead.

I love having muffins ready to go in the morning. These are yummy and gluten free! Packed with protein, they make a delicious and healthy breakfast.

TIP: We make our muffins and after they are cool pop them into a large freezer bag and freeze them. When you want one, all you have to do is grab a muffin and defrost in the microwave for 25-30 secs. Easy!

I love eating this for breakfast! You can make it on the weekend and keep it in the fridge for the upcoming week. It is savory and full of protein. I love putting cheese on mine as well. So good.

This dip could be a breakfast or a snack (or even a part of lunch!) and is full of good fat and is so yummy. Serve with crackers as shown above, veggies, deli meat, and anything else you would like!

Energy bites are perfect for a snack or an sweet (but healthy) accent to your breakfast. Full of protein and natural sugar from the dried fruit, make these a great breakfast choice.

My gluten free chocolate muffins are a favorite in our house. I created this recipe and honesty didn't expect it to be very good but it was and we eat them for breakfast a lot. Like with the carrot cake muffins above, we freeze these and pull them out for easy breakfasts. Full of protein and so yummy makes a easy and healthy breakfast.

This is one of my favorite breakfast foods to have ready to go in the fridge. It is so yummy and filling. We make it ahead of time and put it in a pitcher for the week, so when you want it all you have to do is go to the fridge and pour some!

Other things I love to eat for breakfast:

Raw Veggies

Cheese (Colby Jack is my favorite)

Deli Meat

Left over Meats (Example: Grilled Chicken)

Egg Salad (I don't like eggs plain, they need something added to them for me to eat them!)

Left over Veggies (such as these green beans)

I know I am prone to eating better when I have healthy choices ready and available. It is so valuable to eat healthy meals (especially breakfast) to fuel your body with what it needs so that you can work hard and do you best.

I hope you found this post helpful and have a blessed school year!
