Hello!

Welcome to my blog. I put a little bit of everything on here: recipes, faith, DIY and beauty posts. I am so glad you are here!

IT'S JULY! HERE ARE MY GOALS

IT'S JULY! HERE ARE MY GOALS

Let's just take a moment and think about that it is already July. WHAT? Wasn't it just yesterday that I welcomed in the new year with my youth group and then stayed up till two with my sister watching Youtube? This year is flying by.

I have been reading this book and it talked about how goal making helps us to stay focused and live on purpose. I love and believe that completely! Which brings me to some things I learned from intentionally making goals for June

Here were my goals for June:

And here is what I learned:

  1. I didn't keep my goals in a place where I would see them, so I didn't remember my goals and why they were important.
  2. The goals I made were good and important but too vague and didn't spur me on to do those things.
  3. One thing I learned that I need to be better at is Sabbath. I love the practice of Sabbath but I needed to sit down and think and pray about what Sabbath means to me. I need to incorporate what truly helps me to rest and connect with God and then put those things into practice.

TAKEAWAYS FOR JULY:

When I sat down to think about my goals for July, I tried to really think about what works, what is life-giving and how to seek God through my goals. I need to make more specific goals and keep them in a place where I will see them.

So without further ado, here are my July goals!

These things tie in with my updated yearly goals and are things that I especially wanted to work on this month. My monthly goals are a little vague but for me, these are things that I am consistently working on and that lead to the abundant life that God died for me to have. There are goals that are specific to this season and ones that are reoccurring every month.

I wanted to have these goals to help me cultivate strong relationships and help me to continue growing.

There you have it! I am excited to start these.

What are your goals for the month (or ones that you have in your life)? I would love to hear.

Have a beautiful day!
