Man, July just flew by! I honestly didn't feel prepared to sit down already and plan for August, but here we are and it is going to be great. The things I have going on in August are enjoying the last few weeks of summer and tending to my obligations at church, blog, and home. I am excited for what God has in store for August, He is so good!

When I looked back at my July goals, thinking about what did and didn't work, I realized this:

  1. Oil pulling wasn't that life-changing or life-giving for me so I stopped doing it.
  2. I don't need to keep the goal of playing with Mina to my daily section because I do that already.
  3. My weekly goal of no work on weekends I found isn't realistic for me because I am still in high school and need to help my family around the house and I don't always have time to work on blog stuff and be done with everything by Friday. What I have found that works for me is to allow work on Saturday and make it my goal on Saturday to finish all work for the week so I can enjoy Sabbath to the fullest. I have learned that I can rest better when I have prepared well for the coming week.

With those things in mind, I wrote down monthly, weekly and daily goals for August and here they are!

Lord, thank You for the wonderful life that You have blessed me with. Please bless and lead me in this new month. Please help me to glorify You. You are so good!
— Amen

What are some of your goals for the month of August? I hope this post inspired and encouraged you. Have a beautiful day!
